I made a yellow minky changing pad cover and LOVE IT! I have recently added it to the etsy store.
My sister-in-law also had me make her a cross-stitch item for a gift for somebody. I have decided to do these on a special order basis only since they can vary so much. This cross-stitch item was the outline of the state with a heart in an area of the state that was very special to this person. I then framed it with a cross-stitch hoop.
Also, I am having a discount going on right now. If you order anything (special order or ready to ship items) you can get 10% off for the month of July only! It is my birth month so lets celebrate! On the etsy store just enter code BDAY14 for your 10% off or contact me through my etsy page to special order that special item!

Changing Pad Cover
So, we have been so busy around here I haven't had a chance to update the blog in quite awhile!
First off, we are expecting a new little blessing to enter our household beginning of September, so I have been busy busy working on a few little projects for the nursery, which I am now doing as custom orders as well. I am currently asking $30 each for the changing pad covers + tax & shipping if needed.
The first thing I made was cushions for our rocking chair, because the previous ones weren't tall enough so when we wanted to lean our heads back for that midnight feeding, we would hit a hard surface so I redid them in this giraffe print. Then, I couldn't resist, I wanted to make a changing pad cover to match.

Chevron
I LOVE this quilt! I am tempted to keep it for my son! This is a grey, yellow, and white chevron quilt that I constructed. The back is all white with a stripe of yellow and grey. It measures at 45" x 49.5" and is machine quilted along the chevron pattern. I can't wait to make more of these!
I am asking $95 + tax and shipping (if needed) for this quilt.

Chrysalis
I absolutely fell in love with this fabric as soon as I saw it! I couldn't wait to make a quilt out of it! Then, I started drawing up a pattern and I think it is one of my favorites!

Startup
Ok, so after thinking about it for a long time and being home for Mason for 5 months I have finally decided to open my own quilt shop online through Etsy. It has been a process and I have finished my first quilt to put up, but can't start selling them until December.
I have applied for all the federal and state stuff and just turned in my city permit application today, but won't get approved until the committee meeting in December. **Fingers crossed** No, actually it shouldn't be an issue according to Tim at the city office, especially since I won't be opening up my home like a shop every day.
Once I get going, I hope to be able to attend a few craft fairs as well to get my stuff out there. I am anxious to receive the fabric in the mail that I ordered online the other day. I am so excited about this next step! I am doing something I love while I get to stay home with my little one! I will let you all know when I open my Etsy shop! I can't wait! Hopefully November goes fast ;)
Here is the first quilt for the shop...YEAH!!
