I have applied for all the federal and state stuff and just turned in my city permit application today, but won't get approved until the committee meeting in December. **Fingers crossed** No, actually it shouldn't be an issue according to Tim at the city office, especially since I won't be opening up my home like a shop every day.
Once I get going, I hope to be able to attend a few craft fairs as well to get my stuff out there. I am anxious to receive the fabric in the mail that I ordered online the other day. I am so excited about this next step! I am doing something I love while I get to stay home with my little one! I will let you all know when I open my Etsy shop! I can't wait! Hopefully November goes fast ;)
Here is the first quilt for the shop...YEAH!!
This quilt measures at 36" x 40".
The front is made up of finished 4.5" squares in a random patchwork design. The back is the green color you see as the binding around the edge of the quilt. The fabric all comes from Moda. The front colors are from the Moda collection Bobbins & Bits.
It was quilted by machine along the seams for a beautiful square pattern.
The batting is a Warm & Natural cotton batting.
